Psalm 145:18
Psalm 145:18
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
The Lord is always near to those who call upon Him in truth. This verse reassures us of God's nearness and willingness to respond when we earnestly seek Him. Calling upon God in truth means approaching Him with sincerity, honesty, and openness, not hiding our struggles or pretending to be someone we are not. It is in truth that we find God's guidance and faithfulness, as He is always ready to hear the prayers of those who seek Him with pure hearts. God's closeness is not dependent on our perfection but on our willingness to come to Him in honesty. When we call upon Him, we can trust that He will be near to us, providing the wisdom and direction we need. This is a powerful reminder that God is not distant or detached, but actively present, offering His guidance, protection, and support. As we approach Him with a heart of truth, we experience His nearness and deepen our relationship with Him, knowing that He is always ready to listen and respond.
