Psalm 147:9
Psalm 147:9
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
This verse emphasizes God’s tender care and provision for all creatures, even the ravens, who cry out to Him for food. The image of the ravens calling out to God when they are in need reflects the care and attentiveness God gives to every living creature. Ravens, often seen as birds of the wilderness, are not forgotten by God, and neither are any of His creations. For believers, this verse is a comforting reminder that God hears our cries, just as He listens to the ravens, and that He provides for us in our moments of need. This verse calls us to trust in God’s provision, knowing that He cares deeply for His creation and will provide what is needed, even when we feel like we are wandering or lacking. It is a reassurance of God’s faithfulness to meet our needs in every season.
