Psalm 22:24
Psalm 22:24
For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face.
"For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face" speaks to God’s unwavering care for those who suffer. Unlike others who may turn away from pain or try to avoid it, God does not hide His face from us in our suffering. In fact, He draws near to us in our times of distress. He understands the anguish of the human heart and does not look upon our pain with disdain. Instead, He provides the comfort and hope we need to endure. When we feel isolated or forgotten, we can be assured that God is with us. He is always present, offering compassion and understanding. His love for us is unconditional, and He never abandons us, even in our darkest moments. His face is turned toward us, offering strength and hope for the journey ahead.
