Keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord is a decision that brings freedom from fear and anxiety. When we place our trust in God, we find that He is our constant source of guidance and protection. Just as the psalmist says, "my eyes are ever on the Lord," we are called to focus our attention on God, knowing that He will lead us out of the snare of fear and into the freedom of His peace. Trusting God with our lives means surrendering our own understanding and relying on His wisdom. When we face challenges, our natural inclination might be to worry, but when we choose to focus on God, we can rest assured that He is with us and that His plans for us are good. This trust is not passive but active, involving a continual choice to focus on God rather than our circumstances. With our eyes fixed on Him, we experience His protection, peace, and guidance.
