Psalm 27:14
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Waiting on the Lord is one of the most important aspects of our faith journey. It requires patience, trust, and hope, but it is in this waiting that God renews our strength. Birthdays are a great time to reflect on how we have waited on the Lord in different seasons of life. In times of uncertainty or difficulty, waiting on God strengthens our hearts and draws us closer to Him. He promises that when we wait on Him, He will renew our strength and give us courage to face whatever comes our way. As we celebrate our birthdays, we acknowledge the times when God has kept us in the waiting seasons—when our prayers seemed unanswered and our dreams felt delayed. Yet, in the waiting, we learned to trust Him more deeply, knowing that His timing is perfect. The act of waiting on God is not passive but an active trust in His timing and provision. As we wait on Him, we grow stronger in our faith, more hopeful for the future, and more certain that He is at work behind the scenes. This birthday, may we embrace the waiting with patience, trusting that God is renewing our hearts and preparing us for the great things ahead.
Deuteronomy 3:22
Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.
1 Chronicles 28:20
Be strong and courageous, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed, for the Lord God will be with thee.
Psalms 3:6
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me.
