Psalm 29:10
Psalm 29:10
The Lord sitteth upon the flood yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.
The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever. Psalm 29:10 speaks to the eternal nature of God’s reign, even in the midst of chaos and tumult. The “flood” in this verse represents the troubles, challenges, and upheavals of the world. Despite the storms that may rage around us, God remains seated on His throne, reigning in majesty and power. This verse reminds us that no matter the turmoil or uncertainty in the world, God’s rule is unshaken. He is the King who reigns over all things, and His reign is forever. For believers, this is a reminder that God is in control, even in the midst of life’s challenges. No situation is beyond His reach, and His authority is not threatened by the forces of darkness or chaos. His eternal kingship gives us hope and assurance, knowing that His reign is secure, and His purposes will be accomplished.
