Bebe's interpretation
The power of words cannot be underestimated, as they can either build or destroy. The Bible teaches that even smooth and flattering words can conceal the most dangerous intentions. While someone’s speech may sound sweet and comforting, if it is used to manipulate or deceive, it becomes like a sword drawn to harm. Proverbs also warns about the weight of deceitful words, emphasizing their destructive nature. In the life of a believer, the importance of speaking truth and avoiding falsehood cannot be overstated. We are called to use our words to edify, build up, and speak life into those around us. As we grow in Christ, our speech should reflect His love, truth, and integrity, bearing witness to His transforming work in our lives.
