Psalm 84:5

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

Those whose strength is in the Lord are blessed, for their hearts are set on pilgrimage—a journey of purpose and devotion. Pilgrimage is often a symbol of a deeper spiritual journey, one where we seek God earnestly and walk toward Him with determination. The blessed person does not wander aimlessly but moves forward with a heart set on the Lord. Their strength comes from God, and as they journey through life, they experience His provision and guidance. This verse encourages us to set our hearts on the pilgrimage of faith, pursuing God’s will with intentionality and trust. The strength to continue comes not from our own ability but from God’s sustaining grace. Those whose hearts are set on pilgrimage will be blessed with His presence, guidance, and peace as they travel through life’s challenges and triumphs.
