Psalm 95:1
Psalm 95:1
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Singing unto the Lord is a call to worship, one that invites us to come together and celebrate the rock of our salvation. God is our foundation, our security, and our refuge, and this verse calls us to praise Him for being that rock. A joyful noise is a sign of our gratitude and recognition of His greatness. Worship is not just an individual act but a communal one, as we come together to lift up God’s name. The act of singing praises to God is a way of declaring His salvation in our lives and in the world. God’s salvation is a source of deep joy and thanksgiving, and through worship, we respond to His grace. This verse reminds us that worship is a collective celebration—when we sing, we join together as the people of God, unified in our love and reverence for Him. As we praise God, we express our gratitude for His salvation, and our hearts are filled with joy and peace.
