Psalms 112:7
Psalms 112:7
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
The believer who trusts in God is not shaken by the news of adversity. This verse highlights the peace and stability that comes from a heart fixed on trusting the Lord. When our trust is in God, we are not easily disturbed by the changing circumstances around us. Evil tidings, bad news, or unsettling situations may come, but our hearts remain steadfast, grounded in the assurance that God is in control. This trust in the Lord is not passive but involves an active decision to rely on His promises and His sovereignty. It is this kind of faith that gives us the confidence to face challenges with calm assurance, knowing that our strength comes from the One who is always faithful. As our hearts are fixed on Him, our trust becomes an anchor that keeps us steady, even in the midst of storms. The Lord’s faithfulness assures us that we are never alone, no matter the difficulties we face.

Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
Judges 6:40
And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.
