Psalms 115:11
Psalms 115:11
Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
Fear of the unknown is replaced by trust in the Lord’s provision. This verse calls those who fear the Lord to place their trust in Him as their help and shield. God is not only the source of our salvation but also the protector who shields us from harm. Trusting in the Lord provides us with a strong foundation of hope that keeps us secure in His love and care. In times of need, God is our help, and in times of danger, He is our shield. This dual role of God as both our helper and protector assures us that He will provide for our every need and guard us from all threats. Trusting in God is an active choice, and it is through this trust that we experience His faithfulness and provision. Those who fear and trust the Lord are never without His support. He is their constant companion and protector, watching over them in all circumstances.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
John 6:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Psalms 27:13
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
