Psalms 119:133
Psalms 119:133
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
The desire to walk a path free from wrongdoing is a noble pursuit, yet it requires strength and vigilance. To ask for guidance in aligning our steps with wisdom means acknowledging our need for a firm foundation, one that cannot be swayed by the influences around us. This commitment to righteousness is not a solitary journey but a partnership where faith meets action. By inviting guidance, we are embracing a path that steers us away from pitfalls and strengthens our resolve to stay true to the principles we hold dear. This journey is one of ongoing growth, where each step forward is a choice to reject influences that lead us astray. When we ask for our steps to be ordered, we are expressing a desire to live a life of integrity, one where each decision reflects our values and our commitment to a higher purpose. This dedication is both a protection and a promise that, as we walk in this guidance, we are fortified against forces that may seek to undermine our resolve. By grounding ourselves in wisdom, we find the strength to navigate life’s complexities with clarity and purpose.
