Psalms 139:7
Psalms 139:7
Where can I go from your Spirit Where can I flee from your presence.
God's presence is not bound by location—His Spirit is everywhere, and we cannot flee from His presence. This truth is both comforting and convicting. It means that no matter where we go, God is there, fully aware of our thoughts, actions, and desires. The psalmist asks, “Where can I go from your Spirit?” and this rhetorical question emphasizes the fact that God’s presence is inescapable. For believers, this should be a reminder of God’s constant availability and closeness. There is no place where we can hide from His love, grace, or correction. It also means that we can always seek Him, no matter where we are. In times of difficulty or joy, God is present, ready to offer His comfort and guidance. We are never separated from His Spirit. This understanding calls us to live in constant awareness of His presence, inviting Him into every aspect of our lives.
Exodus 33:14
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Psalms 119:64
The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees.
Psalms 27:4
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
