Psalms 16:7
Psalms 16:7
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
God’s guidance is a precious gift, and this verse reminds us that He provides counsel even in the quiet of the night. Worship is not only about what we express outwardly but also about how we receive God’s guidance in our hearts. In times of confusion or uncertainty, God’s counsel provides clarity and direction. The psalmist acknowledges that God’s guidance is always available, even during the night seasons, when we may feel most vulnerable or unsure. Praise becomes a response to God’s wisdom and insight, as we recognize that He is always teaching and directing us, even in our most quiet moments. This verse encourages us to seek God’s counsel continually, allowing His guidance to shape our decisions and our lives. Worship, therefore, is not just about offering thanks for God’s blessings but also about receiving His wisdom and trusting His leading. Through His counsel, we are equipped to navigate life with faith, hope, and purpose.
