Psalms 16:8
Psalms 16:8
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Trusting in God is foundational to a believer's life. When we consistently set the Lord before us, we align our lives with His presence, ensuring that His guidance directs every step. The imagery of God being at our right hand signifies His active support and protection, offering us security in the face of all trials. No matter the challenges or obstacles that may arise, the Lord’s presence ensures that we will not be moved, as He is the source of our strength and stability. By maintaining a focus on God, we can stand firm in the knowledge that His power and love will keep us steady. This is a call to a life of trust—a trust that is rooted not in circumstances, but in the unchanging nature of God Himself. The strength we gain from His presence is what empowers us to remain unshaken, regardless of external difficulties. In the midst of life’s uncertainties, our confidence comes from the assurance that we are never alone.
Psalms 71:5
For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.
Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Psalms 2:12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
