Psalms 28:7
Psalms 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Trusting in God as our strength and shield brings immense joy, as we know that He is always by our side, protecting and guiding us. This verse emphasizes that trust in God leads to both help and joy. When we place our faith in God, we are assured that He will help us through our trials and challenges. He is our protector, guarding our hearts and minds from fear and despair. The result of this trust is joy, as we experience the peace that comes from knowing God is with us. Praise naturally flows from a heart that trusts in God’s strength and protection. When we rejoice in God’s help, we recognize that our strength is not our own but comes from Him. Worship in these moments becomes an expression of gratitude for the ways God sustains and strengthens us. Our hearts, filled with joy, praise Him for His faithfulness, and we are reminded that He is always our refuge and our help in times of need.
2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
1 Chronicles 29:11
Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 1:19
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
