Psalms 37:28
Psalms 37:28
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
God’s love for judgment and righteousness shows His commitment to justice. He does not forsake His saints, promising them preservation and protection. This assurance is a reminder that God’s justice is active, ensuring that the wicked do not prevail. His judgment is both a warning to those who stray and a comfort to those who seek righteousness. God’s protection is a shield for His people, preserving them against the forces of evil. His love for judgment affirms that He is not indifferent to the world’s injustices; rather, He actively intervenes to protect the righteous. This commitment to justice encourages believers to trust in God’s timing, knowing that His judgment is perfect. They are preserved by His faithfulness, allowing them to live in peace. This preservation is not just physical but spiritual, safeguarding their souls against the corruption of sin. In trusting God’s judgment, they find confidence, knowing that He upholds righteousness and will never abandon His own.
