Psalms 62:11
Psalms 62:11
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
The declaration that power belongs to God emphasizes His sovereignty and strength. God’s power is unmatched, and His authority governs all creation. This verse underscores the fact that all strength and power originate with God, and He is the ultimate source of both physical and spiritual might. As believers, we are called to place our trust in God's power, knowing that He is fully capable of guiding us through any situation. This is a reminder that when we face challenges, it is not through our own strength but through God’s power that we overcome. Worship becomes an act of faith, where we acknowledge God's control over all things and trust in His infinite strength. By recognizing that power belongs to God, we are encouraged to live humbly, depending on His power for everything we do, knowing that He will always be the source of our victory and endurance.
1 Chronicles 29:11
Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
1 Corinthians 4:20
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Ephesians 1:19
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
