Psalms 64:10
Psalms 64:10
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
The joy and gladness that come from trusting in the Lord are not based on external circumstances but on the security of knowing that God is in control. This verse invites us to rejoice not because of what we have but because of who God is. Trusting in the Lord brings peace and joy, even in times of difficulty. When we place our confidence in God, we are assured that He will never leave us or forsake us. Our joy is rooted in the eternal truth of His faithfulness and love. This verse encourages us to find our satisfaction not in temporary possessions or fleeting experiences but in the unshakable promise that God is with us, and that He will guide us through every season of life.
