Psalms 96:11
Psalms 96:11
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
The heavens and earth, as well as the sea and everything within it, are called to rejoice in the glory of the Lord. This declaration emphasizes the joy that all creation should experience in response to God’s greatness. The creation itself reflects the glory and majesty of the Creator, and when His works are evident, all of creation has reason to rejoice. This verse invites believers to partake in the joy of creation, celebrating the goodness of God that is reflected not just in humanity but in the whole of creation. As we consider the beauty of nature, the power of the sea, and the vastness of the earth, we are reminded that God’s work is worthy of all praise. Our joy is a reflection of God’s glory, and it is a call for all people to align with the earth’s natural response of rejoicing in Him.
