Revelation 2:10
Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried.
Persecution is a part of the Christian life, and this verse reminds us not to fear the suffering that may come. While the enemy may attempt to cast us into trials, God has a purpose in allowing them. He uses these moments to test and refine our faith, strengthening us for what lies ahead. In times of suffering, we are called to stand firm and trust in God’s sovereignty. He has not abandoned us but is present in every trial, guiding and protecting us. The suffering we face is temporary, but the strength and endurance we develop through it last. This verse encourages us to fear nothing that we may encounter, for God is in control. Worship becomes an act of surrender, where we acknowledge that even in the face of suffering, God is at work in us, preparing us for eternal glory. Our faith is not based on avoiding trials, but on trusting God’s presence and power to sustain us through them.
Romans 5:20
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
1 Peter 3:14
But even if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
Matthew 5:10
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
2 Timothy 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
