Revelation 20:10
Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone.
In the depiction of the devil’s downfall, cast into the lake of fire, we see the ultimate justice rendered upon deceit and rebellion against God. This act serves as a vivid representation of God’s absolute authority and the inescapable nature of His judgment. It illustrates that even the most powerful forces of evil cannot prevail against God’s righteousness. For believers, this is both a caution and a comfort – a caution to avoid the deception that leads away from God, and a comfort in knowing that God’s justice will ultimately triumph over all wickedness. It serves as a call to align oneself with God’s truth, to embrace His love, and to walk in integrity. In doing so, believers not only resist the pull of deceit but also find themselves under the protection and guidance of a just and holy God. This passage reminds us that the path of righteousness leads to eternal peace and security in God’s presence.
Mark 9:43
It is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.
Mark 9:44
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Psalm 86:13
For great is thy mercy toward me and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
Proverbs 15:11
Hell and destruction are before the Lord how much more then the hearts of the children of men.
