Romans 14:19
Romans 14:19
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
This verse encourages us to pursue peace and unity, promoting actions that build up and edify others. We are urged to actively seek the things that foster peace, understanding, and mutual encouragement. In a world filled with conflict and division, this call is especially important. By focusing on what unites us in Christ, rather than what divides us, we cultivate an environment where people can grow and be strengthened in their faith. The pursuit of peace is not just about avoiding conflict but also about intentionally seeking ways to lift each other up. Through words and actions that edify, we contribute to the building of a strong, supportive Christian community. It is through this pursuit of peace that we find deeper fellowship and greater spiritual growth, as we learn to love and serve one another in humility and kindness.
1 Thessalonians 5:12
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you.
Hebrews 3:13
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
1 Thessalonians 5:14
Comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
Romans 15:4
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
