Romans 14:8
Romans 14:8
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
This verse speaks to the significance of living for the Lord in every aspect of life. Whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord, and our lives are to be devoted to His purpose. It reminds us that our identity is rooted in our relationship with God, not in our circumstances or the fleeting nature of life. This understanding helps us navigate both life and death with hope, knowing that our lives have eternal significance. Whether in times of abundance or suffering, we are called to live with purpose, knowing that every moment is an opportunity to honor God. This verse encourages us to find peace in the sovereignty of God, who holds our lives and our deaths in His hands. We belong to Him in life and in death, and this truth gives us the strength to face both with courage, knowing that He is with us every step of the way.
2 Corinthians 4:14
Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Romans 6:7
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
1 Corinthians 15:42
So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable.
