Romans 15:4
Romans 15:4
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
The Scriptures are not just historical records but rich sources of encouragement, hope, and wisdom for our lives today. The Bible teaches us that everything written in the past was intended to instruct us, providing comfort, patience, and hope. Through the stories, teachings, and promises found in Scripture, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness, His love for us, and the hope we have in Christ. In times of trial and difficulty, the Word of God offers comfort and assurance that we are not alone. The Scriptures encourage us to persevere, to have patience, and to trust in God’s timing. By turning to God’s Word, we find the strength to endure, the wisdom to navigate challenges, and the hope to press on. The comfort of Scripture strengthens our hearts, helping us to remain steadfast in faith and to trust that God is working all things together for our good.
