Romans 15:5
Romans 15:5
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like-minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
Patience and unity are essential qualities for the body of Christ, and they come through the work of God in our hearts. We are called to be like-minded, having the same love and purpose, and this requires patience, compassion, and a willingness to understand one another. In a world that often fosters division and discord, God’s desire is for His people to live in harmony, working together to fulfill His will. The God of patience and consolation empowers us to be of one mind, fostering unity in our relationships and communities. When we approach one another with patience and understanding, we reflect the love of Christ and create a space for peace and mutual support. Just as Christ welcomed us with open arms, we are called to do the same for each other, offering encouragement and comfort, and striving to be united in Him.
Romans 14:19
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
1 Thessalonians 5:14
Comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
Proverbs 25:11
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
1 Corinthians 14:26
Let all things be done unto edifying.
