Romans 8:17
Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.
As believers, we are not only children of God but also heirs of His kingdom. This means that everything that belongs to God is also our inheritance through Christ. We are joint-heirs with Christ, which is a powerful truth that speaks to the depth of God’s love for us. Our inheritance includes the promises of God’s kingdom, where we will experience His presence, peace, and glory forever. This inheritance is not earned by our own efforts but is a gracious gift given to us because of Christ's righteousness. As heirs, we share in the blessings of the kingdom, and this truth shapes the way we live. We are called to live in light of this inheritance, recognizing the immense value of our position as children and heirs of God, living with hope and expectation for the future glory to come.
Ephesians 1:14
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Hebrews 11:10
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Psalms 37:11
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Galatians 4:1
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
