Titus 1:2
Titus 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began.
This verse speaks to the certainty of God's promises. The hope of eternal life is not wishful thinking or an uncertain future; it is a promise made by God, who cannot lie. God’s promises are secure, and the hope of eternal life is guaranteed to those who place their trust in Him. Before the foundation of the world, God established this promise, a plan for salvation that would unfold through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our faith in this promise is grounded in the reliability of God's nature. He is faithful, and His word is trustworthy. This verse encourages us to hold onto hope, not because of our own efforts, but because of God’s unchanging character. Eternal life is not something we earn; it is a gift given to us by grace, promised by God before the world began. We can trust in that promise, knowing that God will fulfill it.

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
1 John 3:14
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other.
John 11:26
And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
