John 15:16

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Inspiration
What a blessing that God chose us in Jesus Christ! What an amazing truth that we are wanted and loved by the King of all kings and His Son, Jesus Christ! Not only did God choose you to be His child and make you a new creation, but He also appointed you to bear fruit for Him.
When Jesus spoke these words to His eleven disciples, He was asking them to bear not just the fruit of the Spirit, which includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), but also the fruit of ministry. It isn't up to us to choose the Lord Jesus among all the gods in this world, but because He has chosen us to share His love with those in need.
We have been chosen to make a difference. We have been chosen to bear fruit that endures! Jesus is the true vine. It is only through abiding in the vine that we will be able to produce fruit. Ask for God's blessing on your work in Jesus's name today, and He will bless you.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me to be Your child and to bear Your fruit. Thank You for reminding me that I am loved and wanted from the beginning. You have given me a mission - to bear fruit for You, to multiply Your love, and to bring hope to this lost world. Give me the wisdom and strength to carry out the works that You have appointed me to do, Lord. Help me to serve You with all my heart and be a true disciple of You.
In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
