10 mins a day, closer to God.
When something happens that we cannot explain, we often call it a miracle. However, the miracles in the Bible go far beyond that. A miracle is not something beyond our comprehension but rather something beyond our human ability. It is something that God can do, but we, as human beings, can't. So when we see the sun emerging over the horizon in the morning, we can say, "That's a miracle." That would be biblically accurate because we do not have the ability to create it. Every morning is a miracle of God. When people asked Jesus, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus replied with verse 27, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." None of us is capable of saving ourselves from the penalty of sin – which is eternal death. It can only be done by God. Since God cannot die, He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and raised Him from the dead so that we could have eternal life. If God has the power to raise Jesus from the dead, then He has the power to fix your impossibles, too. Never underestimate what God can do! So open your eyes to see the miracles of each day. Pray about everything. God is always working, and nothing is impossible with Him!
Dear Heavenly Father, we are powerless, but You are omnipotent. Help me to seek Your wisdom, follow Your guidance, and depend on You at all times. There are many things I am incapable of, but with You, everything is possible. From generation to generation, you have performed so many miracles, and I am confident that You will perform many more. May You bless me with an amazing life as I live for You and Your Kingdom. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
John 6:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
