Isn't it amazing that heaven erupted in joy when you forsook sin, accepted Christ into your life, and be born again? How pleasant it is that heaven recognized and accepted you as one of its citizens and celebrated your citizenship. When you go through the Scriptures, you will see multiple passages about God bringing joy into people's lives by blessing them, delivering them from the enemy and destruction, and doing diverse miracles in their lives. However, it is hard to find any verse speaking about how you can make God, His angels, and the entire heaven rejoice. But Luke 15:10 gives us the ultimate secret to reciprocate God's loving kindness and innumerable gifts - soul-winning. Heaven rejoices over a soul that repents because they have gained freedom from the devil's oppression and death. Hell has lost while heaven has gained a soul. Heaven is counting on you to shine your light and save a soul from sin and darkness. Why not be the reason heaven celebrates today? Speak to someone about Jesus Christ and His love and saving grace that gives whoever accepts Him a brand new life and victory. Be intentional about being the reason heaven rejoices. Save a soul today.
Dear Heavenly Father, give me a heart drawn to those who need Your saving grace. Fill my mouth with Your Words, so as I speak, Your Spirit will penetrate people's hearts and cause them to be engulfed by godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Let me be one of Your children that will make heaven vibrate with joy as the angels register new names in the Book of Life. Above all, empower me not to relent in my effort to lead sinners to Jesus, the way, truth, and life. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Jeremiah 3:14
Return, faithless people, declares the Lord, for I am your husband. I will choose you—one from a town and two from a clan—and bring you to Zion.
Acts 5:31
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
James 4:9
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Isaiah 26:7
The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
