10 mins a day, closer to God.
The feeling of sin is a heavy weight to carry. We’ve all been in a place where we desire to please God, but we struggle with the weight that sin still holds over us. We sin against God, and we feel the guilt and shame that comes with it. Yet that isn’t the end of the story for us. Every morning, God’s mercies are new. Every morning, His compassions do not fail to accomplish their purpose. Even if you’ve been stuck in sin, there is forgiveness waiting for you on the cross. If you are coming to the end of this year thinking that you didn’t do well in your relationship with God this past year, know that there is mercy waiting for you at the feet of the Lord. When you come to God with your sin, He is faithful to forgive you every single time. You no longer have to live under condemnation, guilt, or shame! Instead, confess your sins to God, and He will be faithful to forgive them and be compassionate toward you. His mercies are new every morning. As you step into a new year, remember that when you fall. Always come back to God’s mercies, and you will find them.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for the compassion and love that You pour out on us even though we don't deserve it. Sin is appalling to You, but You still forgive us, and You still offer us mercies every single day. Lord, thank You for who You are. I pray that You fill me with Your Spirit so that I might be able to continue to overcome sin in my life and honor You in all that I do. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God.
