10 mins a day, closer to God.
With God, there is always an abundance of good things. Sometimes in our lives, we can get so caught up in what we don’t have that we forget what we do have. For each and every one of us, God has given us things that could only have come from Him. Whether they are talents, spiritual gifts, or even just people in our lives who have blessed us, every good and perfect gift comes from God above. In order to have a fulfilling and growing spiritual life, we must learn to be grateful for these things. God, the Father of lights, has provided us with so many things in our lives that we can be grateful for on a daily basis. Gratitude not only makes you thankful for what you have but also causes you to draw closer to God as you realize all the things that He has done for you and all that He has given you. So today, focus on what God has given you in abundance. Focus on how He is a giver of good gifts and how every good gift in your life has come from your loving Father in heaven.
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to be thankful for all the things that You have given me. Help me to always remember that everything good in my life has come from You and that You are a Father of goodness. Thank You for being a good Father and for providing for Your children. I pray that You fill my heart with contentment and help me to be overwhelmed by the abundance that You bring. Help me to grow closer to You in all things. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
1 Corinthians 12:8
For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge.

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
1 Corinthians 12:4
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.
2 Timothy 1:6
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
