In reality, we all enjoy certain privileges which can result from relationships in our lives. These benefits can include ease of access, acceptance, prompt attention, and many more, all because of our association with some people. We place premium value on these relationships to guarantee us lasting enjoyment of the benefits. Our relationship with God comes with many benefits, one of which is safety. The assurance of safety is guaranteed for those who make the secret place their dwelling. The secret place is not necessarily a physical location; it is a meeting place in the realm of the Spirit where God’s presence is. It is a sphere where man communes with the Monarch of the world. It is a place devoid of life troubles, where all our burdens are laid down and rolled away. It is a place of confident trust in God and His power. Abiding in God's presence enables us to live without fear. With national and economic insecurity, acts of terrorism, threatening food insecurity, and disasters on the rise, dwelling in a secret place is the surest plug for safety. We might be tempted to believe in men or human systems, which may fail, but God is forever reliable and never fails.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for granting me the privilege of being a child of Yours and giving me a place to rest in the secret place of the Most High. Thank You for the many blessings I enjoy by virtue of being a member of Your family on Earth. Because the Lord is my light and my salvation, I will fear no evil. My soul shall be at peace irrespective of frightening situations. I declare that my life is hidden in God through Christ Jesus; no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
