Have you been entrapped in an impossible situation, one that has rendered you powerless and defied solution? Is there a weakness or addiction you have been struggling with but have no record of victory? Do you feel dejected, defeated, and hopeless about this unchanging situation that has robbed you of your freedom and peace of mind? Do not despair; help is on the way.
Humanity has been imprisoned by Sin and has become its slaves. The sinful nature is a state of bondage and hopelessness. But there is hope for the sinner. Sin is a wicked slave master, but God gave us deliverance from Sin’s grip through the redemptive work of Christ. Through the price of the precious blood of Jesus, we are ransomed, set free, cleansed, forgiven, and reconciled with God. 
We are now saved from God’s wrath, from the curse of the law, and enjoy the privilege of being called sons of God. 
This scripture is a call to repentance, an invitation to Jesus, our stronghold, our light tower, a safe haven from life’s troubles and Sin. When we accept Christ, we are restored to be partakers of spiritual blessings in heavenly places and have delivery of God’s covenant promises.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and giving Your Son as a ransom for my freedom. I confess all of my sins and ask that You cleanse me. Help me overcome unhealthy habits that have held me bound. Break me from the chains that have pulled me behind so that I no longer live in my past but look forward to the eternal future You've promised. I declare in Jesus's name that I am free by the Son of God, and I serve God without fear. 
In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
