As Christians, we are not supposed to be "okay" with our sins. As holy people, we should act accordingly. In this life, will we be able to make perfectly sinless choices? No. It is still God's grace and forgiveness that we rely on. Does God's standard now require us to live in perfect holiness? Certainly, and it ought to be our own standard as well, even if we will not achieve it until we are with our Father in heaven.
As Christians, we should place our full trust in Him - a trust that is rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ's completed work. We have in Christ not only the hope of the world and the blessed hope for the children of God, but a hope that is rooted in the word of God, which has never changed, and a hope that rests in a mind that is devoted to Him. To be holy, we are called to reflect Jesus in every aspect of our daily lives.
As God's children, we have been called out of darkness, which characterized our former lives, into the glory of light. We are called to be like Him. A fundamental part of God's eternal nature is His holiness, and we are instructed to keep this separate from our own. Rather than reverting to our former, sinful ways, we are to reflect His holiness as obedient children.

Dear Heavenly Father, knowing Your holiness is far beyond my commonness, I come before You with humbleness. Thank You for making me holy through Jesus' sacrifice. It is my desire to live a life that is holy and dedicated to You. It is my goal to live a life that honors You in all that I say, do, and think. To Your praise and glory, help me turn every thought over to Christ and develop a mind that is circumspect, stable, and self-controlled.
