10 mins a day, closer to God.
In this verse, Paul emphasizes that since everything he has said so far is true, we can rejoice in God through our Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to the fact that we have been justified and will not be subject to God's wrath for our sins, we may also join in God's celebration. We have been reconciled to God through Christ's death on the cross for our sins and our faith in Him. This is not faith in faith but faith in Christ's finished work. We are saved not by faith in faith but by faith in Christ's finished work on the Cross of Calvary. It is entirely up to Christ's finished work on the Cross that has paid the full price for our sins and reconciles us back to God. Trusting in the finished work of Christ on the Cross provides us with peace with Him and makes us blameless in His eyes. Thanks to Christ's sacrifice on the Cross, we have the assurance that God is satisfied with us. We have been created anew in Christ and positioned in Him in such a way that when God looks at us, He sees Christ's righteousness imbued within us. Never forget the enormous cost that was paid in order to restore us to God through our Lord Jesus, for He alone deserves our praise and honor.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for doing what You did, in Your goodness and grace, to reconcile the world back to You. By faith in Jesus' shed blood, I am reconciled with You, forgiven of my sins, and free from the dominance of sin in my life. I thank You for sending Him to die on the Cross for my sins while I was still a sinner. We are justified by Christ's blood, so many more will be saved by Him from Your judgment. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
