This verse can be an inspiration for us to make the most of our time by seeking the favor of God and trusting that He will establish the work of our hands. It encourages us to be mindful of how we spend our time, to use it in a way that honors God, and to focus on the things that truly matter. Additionally, it serves as a reminder that we are not alone in our endeavors and that God is with us and working all things for our good. Moses compares and contrasts the eternal God and mortal man in this beautiful Psalm. He distinguishes between the fleeting nature of humanity’s fleeting lives, which ebb and flow like a wave that kisses the shore for a brief period and the eternal state of the Lord. As he points out, there is a great difference between the infinite wisdom of God and the foolish ignorance of man. There is an unwavering trust in God that shines through this song of Moses. Despite all of the comparisons in the Psalm of a holy God to sinful man and the contrasts of the eternal Creator to fallen humanity, there is a prayer that ultimately finds its fulfillment in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today seeking Your favor and guidance in all that I do. I pray that You establish the work of my hands and give me the wisdom to use my time on earth to honor You and benefit others. I know that my time on earth is limited, and I want to make the most of it. Give me the strength and courage to tackle difficult tasks and to persevere when things get tough. I trust in Your promises and Your power to establish my works. I thank You for Your faithfulness and for the gift of Your son, Jesus Christ, through whom I have access to Your favor. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
