Throughout this verse, we are reminded of the abundant grace that is available to us through Jesus Christ. The verse highlights the idea that those who are in Christ have a righteousness imputed to them that far surpasses what could be achieved through the law. This abundance of grace is a result of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and allows us to experience reconciliation with God and peace with Him. We are naturally sinful and fall short of God's glory. One man's sin resulted in the condemnation of all humankind, leaving no escape from the consequences of our own sin. Yet, in His grace, God intervened and provided a greater solution - the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, reigning in our lives through Lord Jesus Christ. The entrance of sin into the world through one act brought death to all, but through one act of righteousness, Christ's death and resurrection, God offers salvation to all who believe. As we were made sinners through our association with Adam, we now become righteous through our union with Christ in His New Creation.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your abundant grace and gift of righteousness in my life through Jesus Christ. I recognize that by nature I was born in sin and I fall short of Your glory. But You graciously dealt with my act of rebellion and provided a way for me to escape the consequences of my sin. I believe in Your love and Your plan for my salvation through Jesus. Thank You for Your mercy and Your constant presence in my life. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.

Romans 5:15
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Colossians 1:6
Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
1 John 4:14
