10 mins a day, closer to God.
It is a blessing to have parents or guardians to guide and protect us, but sadly, not everyone has that privilege. However, even more pitiful is the absence of a spiritual guardian. But thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit, we can now call God our Father. He is not just any father, but a Father who loves us unconditionally and will never leave us without help or guidance. God's love is not comparable to human love, which is limited and imperfect. His love is boundless and extends beyond our imagination. He loves us because that's the essence of His being. As we go through each day, we should be conscious of how much we are loved by the One who made all things and has all the power. His heart beats for us, and He desires that we prosper and be in good health. We should never feel orphaned or alone because we have a loving Father who is always with us. He is always ready to listen and guide us. With Him, we have access to all we need, and we should always be grateful for this privilege. Knowing that we are loved by the most powerful being in existence should give us confidence and reassurance that we will always be protected and provided for.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being the Father who never leaves me nor forsakes me. I am so grateful for the love and guidance You provide and for the privilege of calling You my Father. Help me to always remember that I am Your child and to live my life according to Your will. Strengthen me with Your love and help me to trust in Your provision for all of my needs. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Isaiah 40:1
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Psalms 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Romans 1:12
That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
