10 mins a day, closer to God.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your sins? We sin daily in a variety of ways, and we often feel shame and guilt afterward. Even though we know that we are forgiven and that we can continue to ask for forgiveness, it still hurts to know that we hurt God. However, we have to remember that the sacrifice of Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. The law that we cannot follow any longer brings death and destruction to our lives. Instead, we can rest in the life that Jesus has for us, knowing that His righteousness is counted as our own and that He is faithful and just to forgive us whenever we sin. Whenever you feel the weight of sin in your own life, remember Jesus's sacrifice for you. He died so that you would no longer have to bear guilt and shame anymore. Instead, you can live a life free of death when you choose to follow Him and trust in Him.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am sorry for all of the times that I have taken Jesus's sacrifice for granted in my life. I admit that sometimes I live and think as if Jesus hadn't died for my sins. Instead, I ask that you help me to truly understand what that means for me in my life and how I can live in light of the fact that I am free from the law of sin and death. Show me how to live a new life in Jesus Christ and how to truly live by the law of the Spirit. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Psalms 119:33

Deuteronomy 4:13
And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
Psalms 33:22
Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Psalms 19:8
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
