10 mins a day, closer to God.
This short greeting from Paul the Apostle is a reminder of the source of our blessings as believers in Christ. It is through the grace of God and the peace of Jesus Christ that we have access to salvation and the abundant life that God promises. Grace is the undeserved favor of God, and it is only through His grace that we have been saved. We were once lost in our sins and separated from God, but because of His love for us, He sent His only Son to die for us and reconcile us to Him. We cannot earn this grace, but we can receive it freely by placing our faith in Jesus. Peace, on the other hand, is the result of our reconciliation with God. We no longer have to live in fear or anxiety because we know that we have been forgiven and have a place in God's family. The peace of Christ is not just a feeling but a state of being that comes from knowing that we are loved and accepted by God. As we go through our daily lives, let us remember that our blessings come from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us live in the grace and peace that they offer, and let us share this message of hope with others who are still searching for meaning and purpose.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your abundant grace and peace. I pray that anything short-circuiting the flow of grace and peace into my life is removed from the way. Change me from the inside out. Grant me all the help I need to be all that You've called me to be. Help me constantly seek mercy and help from Your throne of grace. May I be a light in the world, reflecting Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
