Have you ever felt like the weight of your mistakes and failures is too much to bear? We all make mistakes and fall short of the standards we set for ourselves and others. Sometimes, we may feel like we are not worthy of love or forgiveness.
But Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that we are not saved by our own efforts or good works but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We cannot earn our salvation; it is a gift freely given by God. This means that no matter how many mistakes we make or how far we fall short, we are still loved and accepted by God.

So, if you're feeling overwhelmed by your mistakes and failures, remember that your salvation is not based on your own efforts but on the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Turn to him, trust in him, and find rest for your soul.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in gratitude for Your grace and mercy that saved me through faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for the gift of salvation that I did not earn or deserve but received freely through Your love. 
As I navigate through this life, I ask for Your help to always remember that my salvation is not based on my own efforts or works but solely on Your grace. Help me to trust in You and rely on Your strength to resist sin and temptation. 
Whenever I feel overwhelmed by the weight of my sin, remind me of Your unfailing love and the sacrifice of Jesus that sets me free. May Your grace continue to transform my heart and life to reflect Your goodness and love to those around me.
