10 mins a day, closer to God.
We see in this verse a universal truth: no matter whether life throws challenges at us, what obstacles we may encounter along our earthly journey, or what problems we may be called upon to face, God, in His grace, gathers up each and every circumstance and uses it for our eternal benefit and His greater glory. He has even given us access to His eternal throne of grace so that we may seek help in times of need when we seek mercy from Him. Through God's gracious love, His everlasting mercy is eternally confirmed in His sovereign plan of redemption. Paul rightfully elevates each gloating truth and comforts all of our earthly sufferings; in doing so, he takes us through the unsurpassed privileges that we can enjoy in Christ, bringing his strong argument to a conclusion. In light of the many privileges, eternal promises, and gracious positions that have been conferred upon all those who trust in Christ, no matter how challenging the road may be, the only answer possible to Paul's astonishing question is a response of resounding praise and thankfulness that lasts forever. And the answer can only be "no one!" Praise His holy name!
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You so much for forgiving me of my sins, not because I deserve it. Instead, Christ paid the price for my sins, all of them. Thank You for all You have done for me. I also thank You for my future glorification, which is just as complete in Christ as my past justification when I first trusted Jesus as Savior. No one can be against us! I will never forget this amazing truth. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Psalms 115:11
Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
Titus 2:5
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
