The verse indicates that God knows the way, and we do not. In certain situations when we can't figure things out on our own, we just need to trust in Jesus as our Lord of all the accidents and incidents of life, with all our heart. Choosing to follow the Lord with all of our hearts is not only a positive and beneficial duty but also eliminates all elements of fear and doubt from our lives. It allows us to stand firm in the storms of life, and it replaces self-confidence with a belief that is only found in God. As we trust the Lord with all our hearts, we put aside our own desires and imaginations to serve Him according to His will, and we live by the knowledge that His Word is both complete and perfect. Our little ways, limited minds, and foolish imaginations are so far from God's ways and thoughts, yet so often, we choose our fleshly wisdom and scant understanding to guide us. This is not correct. Let us trust in the LORD with all our hearts, and He will be our source of confidence, protecting us from any kind of panic or sudden storm in our lives.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for knowing all things and allowing me to put myself, my family, as well as my needs and necessities into Your capable hands. There is no need for me to prop myself up with my poor understandings. Rather, I will take Your Word and trust in You with all my heart. I trust You Father. Keep me trusting. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
Psalms 56:3
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Psalms 62:5
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Psalms 31:24
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalms 37:7
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
