Over the course of our lifetime, we hear all kinds of theories and teachings from our parents, our teachers, and the media, but only the Word of the Lord will endure through time and eternity. We may gain all kinds of skills and knowledge through learning and practicing, but if we don't use them to create value in the world that God created and fulfill His plan, they're useless. We can make many plans for our lives based on our human understanding, but God's plan always prevails. The power of God is limitless. Only a sovereign God could promise that all things will work together for those who love Him and are called according to His plan (Romans 8:28). God may bring trials, temptations, and failures into our lives, but they are all parts of God's plan - a plan to make us stronger, smarter and better. Put your faith in the Lord and always seek God's wisdom in His Word. "Heaven and earth shall pass away," the Lord says (Matthew 24:35), "but my words shall not pass away." Trust in the Lord, for He is sovereign!
Dear Heavenly Father, You are the creator and sustainer of all things on earth as well as in heaven. No matter how we plan for our days and lives, Your plan will always prevail. I surrender my life to You and give You full control of my life, for I know that Your plan is always better than mine. I pray You reveal to me what Your purpose is for my life so that I may fulfill Your plan. LORD, bless me with Your wisdom as I dive into Your Word. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Galatians 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Psalms 34:11
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Psalms 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Psalm 37:30
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
