Parents would never turn their children away for any reason that would harm them. Nor will they give their children anything less than what they are able to provide. If our earthly parents, who are imperfect, can show us that much love, imagine how much more our Heavenly Father has in store for us. It is with the greatest confidence that we can come to God as His children and ask what we need because He is more loving and merciful than any earthly parent could be! While God hears our prayers when we ask, He is longing for an intimate and ongoing relationship with each of us. The Lord desires us to seek Him diligently - seeking His guidance, seeking His favor, and seeking His forgiveness. Everything in our lives will lead us to Him if we seek Him in everything we do. As Christians, we all desire to enter the Lord's house so that we can be with Him forever. In spite of obstacles, "knock" shows perseverance. We keep on showing up at the Lord's door by diving into His Words and learning about His greatness day by day. The door of heaven will open unto us if we keep on asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving us Your precious son, Jesus Christ, so that we have a way to get to You. You’re merciful and all-powerful. You will provide if we ask; You will be found if we seek; You will welcome us into Your house if we keep knocking on Your door with our prayers. Only You know what is best for us, and only You know everything that we need. Thank you for protecting me and being present for me, Lord. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.

And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.
John 15:2
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
