10 mins a day, closer to God.
Think about the joy you experience when you master something for the first time. Maybe you've learned a foreign language well enough to communicate with native speakers. Or you put in mile after mile and finally crossed the finish line of a marathon. It could also be that you worked for years to earn your college degree and finally stood on that stage receiving your diploma. Despite all the emotions, joy always comes first. We tend to make the mistake of seeking joy outside of God. When we value ourselves by the opinions of others, our salary, or our social status, we miss out on real joy. We miss the joy in the journey, the joy of discovery, the joy of a heart open to God. All good things come from God, and he rejoices in all good things. He's the only one who can bring us true joy, peace, and hope. It is important to note that this impartation of hope requires the power of the Holy Spirit, who makes this hope transfer possible. Whatever you're going through today, trust in the Lord and ask the Spirit to give you hope!
Dear Heavenly Father, You are not the God of despair, nor the God of darkness, but the God of Hope. Thank You for reminding me that I can overcome anything with the power of the Holy Spirit as I put my trust in You. With You, anything is possible. Please overflow me with Your perfect peace and joy in all areas of my life. Help me not to look to others for joy but always seek joy in You. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Psalm 39:7

1 Peter 1:13
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Hebrews 6:19
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
