God’s very nature is love, and anyone who fails to love others has not truly come to know Him. This verse emphasizes that love is not just an attribute of God but the essence of His being. To know God is to know love, and to live in relationship with Him means to live in love with others. Love transcends all other actions and virtues; it is the foundation of faith, relationships, and truth. As we come to understand God’s love more deeply, we are equipped to extend that love to others.
