Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. This verse celebrates the abundant spiritual blessings that we receive through our relationship with Jesus Christ. The greatest blessing of all is our salvation and the access we have to God’s grace, mercy, and peace. On our birthdays, we can reflect on these spiritual blessings and give thanks for the work of Christ in our lives. No material possession or earthly success compares to the spiritual riches we have in Christ. These blessings are eternal and secure, and they offer us a sense of peace that transcends our circumstances. As we reflect on our birthdays, we can give thanks for the spiritual blessings we’ve received, acknowledging that they are far greater than anything the world can offer. The Father’s love, manifested in Christ, is the source of all true blessings, and we are called to live in the fullness of that love.
Deuteronomy 28:3
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Matthew 5:11
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Proverbs 18:22
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.
Psalms 119:1
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
